Today, the word feminism comes loaded with several connotations. While there is a chunk of the male population, which subscribes to feminism especially on social media, often men have been accused of not practicing what they preach. Women have been struggling to make a point about feminism -that it’s not about male bashing, but about empowering women. Well this point doesn’t seem clear to anyone.

 

It’s unfortunate that only for a few the word feminist implies a strong, independent woman, while many hate women who are strong independent and equal to men. Don’t believe us? The article below will prove the point.

To experiment, feminist Laura Nowak decides to test responses from men on Tinder, where she adds the word feminist to her profile. The kind of responses this woman receives from men is quite appalling. These screenshots from her profile, shared by Huffington Post in their article, clears the air of how people respond to women who are feminists.​
