If we asked you to rate yourself on a scale of 1 to 10, what score would you give? We bet, you’re already thinking of a number between four and seven; and that’s because most of us think we’re good, but not the best yet, and there’s so much more we can do. Makes us wonder, why is it that we always undermine our own value?
To help us see beyond our self-critical view, A Plus conducted a social experiment where they asked people to rate their own success and then asked their loved ones to give them a rating too. What happened next not only surprised the participants but taught us a lesson too. Watch this video for a morale boost today.
Remember, ‘You are more successful than you realise’; and someday when you doubt that, just try and look at yourself from the eyes of a loved one.
This social experiment supports Strayer University’s Readdress Success Movement to change Merriam-Webster’s definition of success!
