Even as everybody heaved a sigh of relief when the hostage crisis in Australia drew to a close, another horror erupted. As the entire world watched in shock, militants claiming to be Pakistani Taliban attacked a military school in Peshawar taking teachers and children hostage. More than 126 people have been killed so far including 84 children. Claiming responsibility for this wholesale slaughter, Pakistan Taliban has declared that that it was to avenge an anti-terrorism military offense.
