Dealing with break-ups is tough and it’s best to see as little of your ex as possible. But with our whole lives being on social media, it becomes a challenge. Add to that Facebook’s ‘memories’ feature, which reminds you of old times.
But people at the Facebook headquarters are working on a tool that will now help you manage your updates from your ‘ex’ without having to block him. This feature which is still being tested, will be rolled out first in the US and it will surely be a boon for those broken hearts, who do not want any blast from the past.
Facebook’s making an effort to enable you to get a clean break if you want with this new feature, which will make sure you don’t get any annoying updates from your ex to put you off balance. Once you change your relationship status, Facebook will automatically present you with options to be able to avoid updates and see less of your ex.
Another interesting feature is that you’ll be able to edit old posts too which will prove to be a blessing for many people. We just wish this feature is rolled out in India soon.
