In a country where billions of people – all of different religions and culture – reside together, the one thing we need to survive is tolerance. To respect people who are unlike us, don’t dress or even look like us. To respect that several little groups make us one big community, one unified nation.
Sadly, in recent times, we’ve seen intolerance abound and people hurting each other’s sentiments with a second thought. Religious, regional, political and social intolerance is slowly dividing the people of India and we don’t even know it. Let’s accept it as a problem and unite against intolerance.
P.S. India is not intolerant; it is we who are.
