She calls herself Radhe Maa, a godwoman, and her latest controversy involves a miniskirt. Move aside Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh a.k.a MSG, you have some serious competition from Radhe Maa. The self-styled godwoman has once again become the talk of the town after she made an appearance on a dance floor, dressed in a….you guessed it right, a miniskirt!
The photographs were shared by reality TV star Rahul Mahajan, allegedly taken in Dubai, who has said in his tweets “by calling this woman #RadheMaa we are disrespecting Radhe and Maa both.”

The self-styled spiritual leader is usually seen in glittering red bridal wear, heavy jewellery and layers of make up. Thick garlands and a trident complete the picture.
For a self proclaimed godwoman, Radhe Maa a.k.a Sukhvinder Kaur, has been associated with some pretty nefarious activities. Last week, she was named in a complaint filed under the Dowry Prohibition Act by a woman from Kandivali. The complaint, filed on Saturday last week, accused Radhe Maa of instigating the woman’s in-laws and husband to harass her for dowry.
Radhe Maa has been accused of indecent behaviour by advocate Falguni Brambhatt who has filed a complaint of obscenity, as the godwoman reportedly allows her followers to kiss and hug her.
The glamorous woman that followers call Radhe Maa is Sukhvinder Kaur, believed to be in her 50s with three children. Many of her devotees credit her with supernatural powers and avidly follow her discourses.
In the crowd of saffron or white-robed godmen, she stands out. Social media is flooded with videos of her dancing to Hindi film songs or being lifted and hugged by devotees.
She has been banned from the Nashik Kumbh mela on August 29 by the Dwarkapeeth Shankaracharya Swami Swarupanand. Some of her devotees consider her to be a reincarnation of goddess Durga and her coterie includes ‘Chhoti Ma’ and ‘Talli Baba’.
If we needed better proof about how smoky the entire set up is, it doesn’t come better than having a secretary named ‘Talli baba’. And now the Maa has been spotted doing some pretty iffy moves on the dance floor in a mini skirt.
The surprising thing here is that in a society where only women who dress strictly within the boundaries of traditional propriety are considered respectable, how exactly did a godwoman with a dark sexual history worm her way into people’s puja rooms?
