DIY: Recycled Toy Frame

Have your kids outgrown their toys? Well here is an easy way to recycle them instead of putting them in storage. Get your kids involved too for a fun activity during the summer vacations.

 

Here’s what you need:

Rubber toys (We chose animals)
Photo frame
Cutter
Spray paint in a colour of your choice (I chose gold)
Strong glue

 

Method:

1. Pick animals of your choice and using a cutter to cut them into half.

 

 

2. Spread paper beneath. Now apply spray paint on the half cut animal pieces. Let them dry for about 15 minutes to half an hour. After the first coat has dried completely, spray second coat to cover the pieces with paint completely.

 

 

3. Decide on the arrangement and stick the toy pieces on the photo frame as shown in the picture below.

 

 

4. Your wall art is ready. Go ahead and hang it on your favourite corner.
