One look at this gourmet chef and you can tell just how vibrant and colourful her life is! Shilarna Vaze began her culinary journey with Le Cordon Bleu in Paris in 2004, and ever since, there’s been no turning back. She married her Swiss husband, Christophe, who she met at Le Cordon Blue, and the two began their culinary adventure with a restaurant in Goa called Gaia.

They then started their own gourmet food consulting company called Gaia Home Chef that’s famous for its top class catering services that balance authenticity with creativity, and luxury with fun.

And that’s not all. Shilarna, known as Chef Chinu on TV, has also hosted shows like Firangi Tadka, Style Chef and Sunny Side Up on FOODFOOD for around seven years now, and dabbled in food writing for reputed publications. The eco warrior now dreams of starting a farm to table experience somewhere near the beach.

Here’s giving you a peek into Shilarna’s colourful life that’s full of food, travel and much more.

Kick-starting her morning with yoga… “The best way to rejuvenate body, mind and soul,” says Shilarna.

Mornings are incomplete without a hearty breakfast. Shilarna has a big bowl of fruit, organic muesli, yogurt, honey and spirulina powder along with a vegetable juice. Looks luscious, doesn’t it?

She then gets into cooking mode in her kitchen with hubby Christophe and her team of dedicated food lovers.

Soon enough, it’s time to head to catering events. Since Shilarna’s clientele consists of celebrities and the who’s who of high society, she rubs shoulders with quite a few known faces on a daily basis.

Shilarna hosts a lot of food shows on TV, and an appearance of even a few minutes requires tons of prepping. Here she gets ready for the show Firangi Tadka on FOODFOOD.

Shilarna’s caught in action cooking up a storm with Chef Saransh Goila during the shoot for Firangi Tadka.

As a chef who’s in love with her job, there’s one thing she can’t be separated from: her spice box.

After her shoot, she’s off to a food event where she catches up with none other than Chef Sanjeev Kapoor and the contestants of MasterChef Australia. One joyous moment after another.

Shilarna loves the outdoors and nothing makes her happier than barren land and breeze. Her evenings are reserved for a peaceful walk.

And then she’s back to the kitchen to whip up something special for dinner.

Time to call it a night. Shilarna poses with the love of her life, ending her crazy yet colourful day.
