Gender inequality isn’t just an India issue; it’s a chronic problem the world over. In fact, it’s as much prevalent in developed nations as it is in under-developed ones. And is not only about the problems faced by women, but also the inequality faced by men.
The United Nations Women in collaboration with the European Commission held a comic competition asking artists to depict what gender equality means to them. Well, when you ask a creative person to put his/her thoughts into pictures, the results are sure to stun you. And indeed they did.
People from various countries participated in this competition and here are the results, with the winner and the finalists.
