Today, MS Dhoni aka Captain Cool turns 39 and the wishes are coming in from the cricket and film fraternity. But there’s an extra special wish that Dhoni got and it’s from none other than his adorable little daughter, five-year-old Ziva!
Posted on her Instagram handle, the video is a photo montage of Dhoni and his mini me right from her infant days to present day, and we get a glimpse of just how the batsman is with his daughter. There are pictures of them in various exotic places, on airplanes and on tour buses. There is even a super cute clip of the two goofing off together. But the highlight is definitely Ziva singing ‘Que Sera Sera’ as the soundtrack to the montage.
Even Sakshi put up a super sweet Instagram post that had her trademark wit wishing her husband, “Marking the date you were born, another year older, greyed a bit more, become smarter and sweeter. (Literally 😂😂). You are a man who will not be moved by all the sweet wishes and gifts. Let’s celebrate another year of your life by cutting a cake and blowing the candles!Happy Birthday, Husband!!
In an interview with a leading daily, Dhoni had opened up about parenting Ziva saying, “I had a wonderful time with her (Ziva), she was there for the whole of IPL and one of her biggest requests used to be I have to go to the ground, that is lawn for her. And also there are a lot of kids in the team. I would get up by 1:30, 2:30 or 3 in the afternoon. Ziva is up by the time she gets up by 8.30 or 9, have her breakfast, engage with everyone, start playing… I feel it just relaxes us a bit more when the kids are playing with each other. I don’t know how much she follows cricket, how much she understands, but I have to bring her one day for the post match presentation and she (can) just start answering all the questions.”
Pretty sure Dhoni’s day was made, as was ours.
