How to bring personality into your dating profile? Bios!

Dating sites are the new best thing for single people who are trying to find their ‘one true love’, but before they can put up Instagram pictures with captions like #LOML and #ForeverBae, they need to put some work into their dating profile bios.

It’s not only us sitting behind our computers who’s saying that the personal bios are important. In the new episode of Tinder Swipe Ride, Alaya F, Kusha Kapila and Simran talk about how important the one liner on your profile is.

If you’re trying to make us blush, this one should do it. There’s a fine line between being a smartass and being witty, and this one rides it well.

10. ‘Now taking applications for a boyfriend. Must be certified in cuddling and telling me I’m pretty. Swipe right to inquire within.’

This one is perfect for the recent college grads who’re out looking for jobs and pretty down with interview lingo. Might not find a job inside, but who knows about love?

Alaya F. talks about the power of dating profiles in 2022

There are a lot of dating apps, but regardless which of the many other dating apps that have popped up over the years you’re using, the bio is the one thing that will get people hooked onto you!

Alaya F. also agreed in the newest episode of Tinder Swipe Ride that the bios are what she was most attracted to. In conversation with Tinder, said that dating profiles were very important to her when she was a student in New York.

“Personally for me, it’s not just a platform for dating or finding the perfect match, in fact it’s whatever you want it to be—to find friends, roommates, travel buddies. Whether you are looking for a long-term relationship, friendship or just someone to explore new experiences with, there is no rulebook to dating and we are in control of what we want.”

So, what’s your new dating profile bio going to be?
