Sara Ali Khan’s New TikTok Challenge Reveals Some Home Truths About Her Family

More people are joining TikTok during quarantine than ever before, and the latest celeb to join this bandwagon is Sara Ali Khan. Yesterday, she shared the cutest video of herself, mum Amrita Singh and brother Ibrahim Ali Khan taking the ‘How well do you know each other” challenge and the results are hilarious.

The video reveals some funny bits such as, Sara was the one who got better grades in school, the craziest person was Sara, and the most popular was Amrita. We also spotted a cameo by Amrita’s favourite child, her pet dog Fuffy Singh

In an interview with a leading daily, Sara had opened up about her parent’s divorce. “I don’t think it’s necessary for two people to be together when they don’t like living together. Often people say, despite disliking their spouses they are together for the sake of their kids. I don’t understand this kind of compromise.” She went on to add, “If you are unhappy, then how can you keep your kids happy? In flights, as they announce – ‘put your oxygen mask on first, before helping others’, in the same way when you are suffocating, how can you keep your kids safe? Today instead of one toxic house I have two happy homes and two happy parents. So I am very happy.”

Saif had opened up about his family and the impact of his divorce a while ago as well while promoting his film Jawani Jaaneman. Speaking to a leading entertainment portal he said, “I think I will never really be okay with that, I mean one needs to understand that certain things can’t be out. I mean I try my best to make peace with that and with myself saying that I was 20 and I was quite young and so much changes. Nobody should really sit around complaining too much because everything’s alright. Sometimes, having two parents might not be the best thing for anyone, but it might be. I mean a nice stable home is a wonderful environment that one would like to give and share with kids.”

We’re glad that the Pataudi-Singh clan are showing us the way when it comes to new-age family relationships.
