Ranbir recently opened up about gearing up to become a father and how the new family plans on balancing work and parenthood.
Ranbir Kapoor wants to be a “hands-on” father

In a recent interview with The Indian Express, Ranbir Kapoor talked about the kind of relationship he wants to have with his child. According to the interaction, the actor wants to be a “hands-on” father, and be there for the baby throughout.
“Alia and I have been talking about it for some time now, how we’re going to share our responsibilities and how we’re going to share our time,” he said.

He also talked about how he and Alia grew up in a generation where they were closer to their mothers. Ranbir confided that he wants a different relationship with his baby.
“We grew up in a generation where our fathers were quite busy with work and were not around us, so more or less we’ve been brought up by our mothers, so we were close to our mothers. I want to have a different dynamic with my children, I want them to be close to me also,” the Brahmastra actor said.
He doesn’t want Alia to compromise on her career

In the interview, he also talked about his wife and how she is doing wonders in the movie industry. The proud spouse said that after becoming a parent, he did not want Alia to miss out on opportunities.
“Alia is a very busy working star in this film industry and I don’t want her to sacrifice her dreams because she has a child,” he said in the interaction. He also expressed a desire to find balance in their lives as parents and actors.
“We have to somewhere plan out a balanced life where we both can enjoy our personal life and our professional life, so it is one day at a time, one step at a time, but I have a lot of expectations from it. [sic]”

Ranbir is not wrong when he says that Alia is on an upwards trajectory when it comes to work. The young actor just put up pictures from Europe where she is shooting for her Hollywood debut! We will be seeing Alia Bhatt in Heart Of Stone with Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan.
