Global sensation Priyanka Chopra Jonas and her husband, popstar Nick Jonas, recently had their first child together, baby Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. Now, a source has revealed how the new parents are sweetly dealing with the responsibilities of parenthood, particularly the times when Malti is crying, unable to sleep or fussing.

According to what a source told HollywoodLife, when Malti is fussy and needs to be calmed down, Nick–known for his solo career as a singer and for being in the band Jonas Brothers–croons to his baby girl and she loves it! The source said, “Nick’s found that it not only helps her sleep but can calm her down when she is fussy. As soon as she hears his voice, she just looks at him with big eyes and smiles. It melts Priyanka’s heart to see this and Nick sings to her all the time.”
Isn’t that the cutest thing you’ve ever heard of? We’re welling up!

After a whirlwind romance and fairytale wedding, Priyanka and Nick’s next big milestone as a couple was the birth of their little one. But, the path wasn’t easy. The couple wasn’t present at a lot of award functions this season and even gave the Met Gala a miss, as they devoted more time to their child.

For the uninitiated, Priyanka and Nick had baby Malti through surrogacy, but the details of how that came to be are not known to the public. However, it wasn’t smooth sailing for the couple after she was born. Having spent a grueling time comprising 100 days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the hospital, Malti finally came home to her mum and dad recently. Clearly a fighter and survivor, Malti seems determined to make it against all odds just like her strong mummy. No wonder Priyanka Chopra thinks the little one is a “badass”!
So, it’s good to hear that she’s finally doing well and has an ear for music just like her talented parents. Here’s wishing the family loads of good times, smiles, and happy bedtime lullabies sung by Nick himself!
