Another celebrity marriage on the cards? Well, it seems so. Yes, after Kajal Agarwal and Neha Kakkar, it’s probably Gauahar Khan who might get married this year. The Bigg Boss 7 winner, who’s currently inside the house as a senior, was heard telling Rahul Vaidya that she’s getting married this year. Her Instagram feed is a clear giveaway that she’s dating Zaid Darbar, son of renowned Bollywood music director and composer Ismail Darbar.
In one of the recent BB 14 episodes, Eijaz Khan confessed that he had a crush on her. When Zaid was asked whether he feels possessive, he told TOI, “I did not feel possessive at all. In fact, I wanted him to realise a few more qualities of Gauahar because I know she is too good. I think the more she will stay inside the house, the more they will realise her qualities. There are two ways of looking at iti f I think in a negative way that can make me possessive but if I am feeling positive, I will definitely feel nice about it. Unki khoobiyaan humse achcha bhala kaun jaanega (sic).”
Talking about Gauahar’s fans, he further added, “They tag me in every video or picture and Rahul also where he asked her to meet him outside and she said ‘I am taken’. I’ve heard most probably she is getting married this year. I’ve heard that too (sic).”
Last month, the actress too dropped hints on her relationship with the dancer. She posted a video where Zaid went down on his knees and proposed to her with a ring. She captioned the video, “Ye hai Gaane ka asar YA mann ki baat? Jaldi Batao. #GaJa killing it. #DropYourLove Sshhh!”
The duo had first met at Shiamak Davar’s Dance Academy where Zaid was an instructor.
Stressing on the bond she shares with the Darbar family, he said, “She has a very strong bond with my family and it’s vice versa even they have. They love her and you have no idea how much they do. She is close to us but I feel the entire world loves her. My entire family, my dad, mom, sister, brother, everybody loves her. My younger sister adores her and she always says I want to be like Gauahar (sic).”
Well, now that’s enough of a hint that the duo are head over heels for each other, and they’re headed towards marriage. While we wait for them to make an official announcement, we wish them all the best!
