R Madhavan’s upcoming dramedy Decoupled c0-starring Surveen Chawla is all set to release on Netflix soon. In the trailer, we see the actor doing away with his quintessential good-boy image where he plays a not-so-desired husband. The story revolves around a couple who have fallen out of love and want to separate.

Madhavan recalls getting intimate with wife on Mumbai beaches
Sharing insights from his personal life and marriage, the actor recently recalled an incident from his courtship period when he was caught by the Mumbai police while making out with his then girlfriend, now wife Sarita Birje on a Mumbai beach.

In an interview with Mashable India, sharing anecdotes about Bandstand and Carter Road, he said, “When I was wooing Sarita, we seldom had a place to get intimate. So, these rocks have many stories to tell. We started out like any other couple in Mumbai, on top of the double-decker buses, coochie-cooing by the rocks, having a policeman say ‘go home’ and all that. We have really fond memories of this place.”
Madhavan also shared how he enjoyed the street food of Mumbai, like pani puri and vada pav: “My girth is a testimony of all that.”
Madhavan’s mantra for a healthy marriage

Stressing on how it’s the small pleasures that count and strengthen your relationship, he said, “I don’t think the fun time should ever go away from a relationship. The format changes, the idea changes, but to me, even now, rather than the big pleasures of life, where you can afford the luxuries of life. The small pleasures, like finding a hot bhutta at the right time on a rainy day is far more pleasurable. I remember when my wife and I couldn’t get enough of the fact that we were travelling business class, and really enjoying ourselves doing that. The fun never goes out. It should never go out in a relationship. To keep the spark alive is to make allowance for the fact that a person changes, and the relationship and the marriage changes.”
Its his wife who stops him from posting shirtless selfies
In another interview, the actor shared how his wife reacts to his shirtless selfies on social media, “I am embarrassed! I don’t know why it happens! I am not the most hot-looking guy, you know. Hrithik Roshan is a Greek god and he should have that appeal. I am in awe of him. Why I would have it, I really don’t understand. My wife has told me, ‘Can you please be age appropriate and not drop these pictures?!’ Frankly, I can’t decode it, but I also don’t want to look a gift horse in the mouth… let me just enjoy it for now.”
