Four years ago, the world was shocked to learn that the iconic actress Sridevi was no more. And the void hasn’t been filled. Her husband Boney Kapoor took to Instagram to share a heartfelt note in remembrance of his late wife.

A love like no other

Sharing a throwback picture from 2008 where the two lovebirds were sitting in a Gondola in Venice, he wrote, “We drove from Milan to Venice on 7th September 2008 & spent just a few hours in the city. We had made plans to visit Venice again for a longer stay but destiny denied our plans.”

Last year in an interview with Gulf News, Boney broke down and said, “I am not looking for closure. I want her to be around me all the time. She is there in my thoughts and will remain in my thoughts all the time. There is not a single moment of the day where she is not with me. She may not be here physically, but she’s there in my mind all the time and that keeps me going.”

Sridevi’s daughters also paid tribute

Boney wasn’t the only family member who posted tributes to the late star. Both Janvhi and Khushi also shared images from their childhood with their mother.

Sharing a picture of herself as a toddler and a very stylish Sridevi in dungarees, Janhvi wrote, “I’ve still lived more years with you in my life than without. But I hate that another year has been added to a life without you. I hope we make you proud mumma, because that’s the only thing that keeps us going. Love you forever.”

The post got love from her half-sister Anushla Kapoor who posted heart emojis.

Khushi also shared images from her childhood on her Instagram Stories.

Sridevi passed away in Dubai having accidentally drowned in her hotel bathroom. The actress and her husband had travelled there to attend the wedding of their nephew Mohit Marwah and had stayed back to relax in the city.

RIP Sridevi! You’re still missed.
