Arjun Kapoor’s latest movie Sardar Ka Grandson is out on Netflix and the actor has been doing interviews as part of movie promotions. Though Arjun is a very private person and rarely talks about his relationship with Malaika Arora, he surprised us fans by getting candid in an interview with RJ Siddharth Kannan.

Arjun and Malaika have been in a relationship since 2019, though they were friends for many years before that. The RJ asked Arjun, who is that one person who can know instantly by facial expressions how the actor is feeling? The actor responded: “My girlfriend knows me inside out, even if I hide, or if I have had a rough day or there is something amiss or if I am in a good mood. She can spot it easily.”

Siddharth also asked him about who is the one person in the family that he goes to for advice, to which the actor answered: “It depends if it is work then I can always ask my dad but if it’s personal then I like to know my sister’s opinion and how she feels about it. I listen to everyone but do what I feel is right. It’s good to hear people out.”

When asked about that one person that he loves to hang out with in the family, Arjun said: “With my uncle Sanjay. He’s somebody who’s always so full of life. From starting his career and seeing one of the biggest debuts and having a low and today coming and fighting back. He is a true fighter in that sense and to have a successful brother around and to still have that personality and wait for his time. He’s a fantastic guy and I love hanging out with him. I’ve spent more time with him than my own father. I grew up in that house with him. I love spending time with him, he’s too entertaining.”

Arjun and Malaika made their relationship Instagram official back in 2019 as Malaika wished him on his birthday. She wrote, “Happy B’day my crazy, insanely funny and amazing Arjun Kapoor.”
Arjun is often seen hanging out with Malaika and her son Arhaan. In an interview with Film Companion Arjun was asked how he feels about dating someone who has a grown-up son. The actor replied: “I don’t try and be overtly talkative about my personal life, because I feel you should respect your partner, and there is a past there… And I’ve been in that situation where I’ve seen things pan out publicly and it’s not always very nice, because there are kids affected.”
