In today’s world, the internet is a huge, HUGE part of our daily lives. From aimlessly texting to bringing down fascist governments, there’s a lot the internet contributes to.

One important segment of that equation is *drumroll please* fights. Whether you agree to it or not, social media, the internet and the modern day digital habits must’ve contributed to one major OR minor relationship fight–we guarantee it.

Here are the plausible list of reasons why that occurred-

1. Liking someone else’s photo

5 Modern Relationship FightsWhether it’s you doing it or your partner, this is easily the most common one of them all. It’s like a needle prick of jealousy–you know it doesn’t mean anything but you’re also taking it as a sign that it might. Which, not surprisingly though, leads to petty fights.

2. Getting unwanted DMs

3. Search history

4. Being online and not responding

5 Modern Relationship FightsAWW MAN TOO DEEP! How many of us have legit thought our partners/crushes are ignoring us because they were online on WhatsApp or Instagram and haven’t responded? Some of us might’ve even gone on a ‘you don’t love me rant’ and by someone we mean every single one of us!

5. Being left on read

Your partner is busy but obviously he’s gotten the time to see your cute text but hasn’t replied with the same enthusiasm as you. Instantly you’re mad because being left on read is basically an invitation to fight.

How many of these have you experienced? Do let us know in the comments below.
