The Taapsee Pannu starrer film sheds light on how Indian men feel entitled to slap their wives in a fit of rage and act like it’s normal. The film not only deals with domestic violence but also with how our patriarchal society expects women to let things like this go and be tolerant. The film, the storyline and the dialogues are jolting, and a lesson on why women should not think of these as a one-time incident and allow men to disparage their honour and dignity.
