“she does not know what the future holds, but she is still grateful for slow and steady growth.” – @morganharpernichols _ What do both fire 🔥 high and 🙏🏻 low intensity have in common? Control. Patience. _ You need to be present, in whatever you’re doing to truly grow. Rushing won’t get you anywhere. So try it out. Start to weave focus (and trust) into all of your practices (on and off the mat, in and out of the gym) and I promise you’ll feel stronger and softer in every sense of both words. _ Swipe 👉🏼 to see both sides of my yoga practice. Part 2 is the majority of what I do at home. Move gently. Breathe. Think. Cry. Etc. _ Also… don’t attempt Part 1 unless you have a solid forearm practice and have warmed up your back bends. I am extremely mobile in my low-back so this isn’t a big strain for me, but it’s not the norm!!! _ @niketraining #yogaoffthemat #flowintostrong #homepractice #breath #growth #focus #patience #explore #journey #yoga #yogini #strength #breathe #getmoving #bekindtoyou #inspire #fitspo

Alex is a certified fitness trainer based out of New York City, and specialises in yoga and functional training. You don’t need to hit the gym for yoga–it’s the simplest form of exercise that you can easily do at home. Her mantra for fitness lies in the belief that you need to be present, in whatever you’re doing to truly grow. Rushing won’t get you anywhere.

Start to weave focus (and trust) into all of your practices (on and off the mat, in and out of the gym) and we promise you’ll feel stronger and softer in every sense. Her brand of yoga involves moving gently, breathing, crying, and letting all your emotions flow.

Good things come in Yogi shaped packages 🧘‍♀️ . Sometimes it strikes me just how lucky we are. We’re alive, & somehow our lives have led us to the practice of Yoga. Buddhist thought considers human birth as being the ‘greatest of good fortune’… We can think, we can feel, & we can reflect on our state of consciousness. The opportunity to change our experience for the better is there for us each & every moment. Being born into a human life is a privilege, & being drawn to practice something like Yoga is an even greater privilege. We all have the potential to become better, freer versions of ourselves, as long as we don’t take our good luck for granted… If you ask me, that’s some seriously good stuff in a Yogi shaped ‘package’ 👍 . Tomorrow is Day 4 of #ClassicOrCreative with Plow Pose or Halasana & I tried a variation inspired by @yogaandchaigirl ❤️ Ps Bodhi pup found this pose pretty fascinating… Outtake in my stories 😂 . ⭐️ Leggings: @liquidoactive #iwearliquido – Use code LAURALIQUIDO for 15% off ⭐️ Mat: @liforme #liforme – Use code OMNIYG2019 for 10% off ⭐️ . 🧘Hosts: Classic: @sirisyoga Creative: @omniyogagirl @belleyoga.tokyo @yogawesermarsch . 🎁Sponsors: @liquidoactive @omstarsofficial @mala_lesateliersdebrahma @yourbondhu . . . . #yogaphotography #yogaphilosophy #yogiforlife #makingshapes #selflovewarrior #liveloveyoga #yogainspo #stretch #bendy #theartofyoga #findyourflow #yogaforlife #practiceyogachangeyourworld #instayogi #yogaoffthemat #shoulderstand #yogalooksgood #yogamotivation #igyogacommunity #practicedaily #myyoga #earpressurepose #practiceyoga #yogachallenge #plowpose #halasana #shoulderstandvariation

Another yoga expert, Laura Large, specialises in ashtanga yoga. In fact, she brings in so many variations in the asanas like virabhadrasana (warrior pose) with a reverse warrior variation. She also introduced the world to a chilled-out crossed leg variation to dhanurasana. She believes yoga is an art, and not just about strength or flexibility. There are plenty of variations that you’d get to see on a daily basis making it simpler and doable for you. She says: “It’s about flexibility in strength, and strength in flexibility. It’s about balance. It’s about adventure, exploration and peeling away the layers. It’s about discovering who we are. It’s so much more than a form of exercise.”

We’ve started a tradition of staying at local B&B’s one night a month. Neither myself or my girlfriend are much for nightlife or socializing, and we don’t drink, so we save our date night money to go towards an overnight at historical landmarks that have been turned into lovely Bed and Breakfasts. Which we both think is kind of a lost art in itself with hotels and such being more of a choice place to stay these days. It was her turn this month to pick a spot, and never in my life have I seen a more quaint, or light filled space. We use these times to set our daily schedules aside and just soak up each others presence. Last night we spent almost 5 hours chatting over a pot of tea. It’s moments like these I forget about all the little things in life that we stress over, and just embrace the present. And it reminds and rejuvenates me to take those feeling back into our everyday life. ❤️

Morgan makes headstands look so easy and effortless that for a moment there we forgot just how difficult doing one actually is. She focuses not only on maintaining physical balance but her mental balance too. Her exercises are more about achieving a healthy mindset and we are loving that.

4. Morit Summers

Morit’s fitness account is all about dead lifts, and she is an inspiration for all you lovely curvy ladies out there. The dedication she puts in is really applaud worthy. It helps to build core strength and sends out a strong message–dead lifts are not just for men.

Massy makes her workout look so much fun by including some dance steps in between. We know after a point it gets really monotonous, so a little dance and drama will do no harm. She specialises in SMR (self-myofascial release), which is said to be the first thing you should do before any dynamic stretching or cardio. It improves blood flow in areas that aren’t getting as much blood to help reduce tension in muscles. According to Massy, it is especially helpful for those who are dealing with back pain or knee pain.
