Shweta Tiwari’s daughter Palak Tiwari burst into the limelight with the Punjabi song ‘Bijlee Bijlee’ with Harrdy Sandhu. The fact that she has a massive fan base, however, does not make her immune to online trolls who often hit out at her for being “too skinny”.
In a new interview, her mother came to her defense, and shared how she reassures her daughter who’s often called “sukdi” and “malnourished” by these trolls.

“As long as she is healthy, I don’t care what kind of body she has”
Reacting to the comments Palak gets, Shweta shared that it doesn’t matter what kind of body she has as long as she is healthy.
In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Shweta said, “Abhi bhi log bolte hain ‘ye kitni sukdi hai’ but I never say anything to her. That’s how you are, and you look pretty. You are healthy, you can run, your vitals are good. So, as long as she is healthy, she is good, I don’t care what kind of body she has. These days, Instagram is enough to troll people. They used words like skinny and malnourished and what not. I don’t care.”

Shweta on whether Palak gets affected by the skinny shaming
Does Palak get affected by the trolling? Shweta shares that Palak often talks about it with her. “Talking about Palak’s questions,” Shweta said, “She says ‘am I really that thin?’ and I say no. I tell her, ‘For your age, this is ok. As you grow older, your body will change’.”
