We all know that the best way to lose weight is to exercise and accompany the hard work with a proper, healthy diet. But how many of us religiously follow it? Most of us don’t, in my opinion, and the reason is simple: it’s difficult. No matter how hard you try to regularise your gym visits and avoid unhealthy eating habits, after the first few days most of us give up because it’s not fun-neither the gym nor the food. While we can’t help you with better food choices right now, what we can do is to share with you a few fun ways to shed some kilos. Imagine dancing your way to glory… oh, I mean fitness. Sounds perfect, doesn’t it?

Recently, Bollywood divas Esha Gupta and Jacqueline Fernandez gave us some serious motivation by sharing videos of themselves learning pole dancing to stay fit. And we take our inspiration for fun ways to workout from the two actresses. Without further ado, we present to you workouts that you’ll enjoy.

Pole Dancing

 

 

While most of us may judge pole dancing as ineffective, allow me to tell you that a 30-minute session of this is equivalent to 20 minutes of exercise at the gym. Pole dancing not only helps you in shedding calories but also gives your body great flexibility.

Zumba is one of the best cardio workouts. It combines moves from four different dance forms, salsa, rumba, merengue, and hip-hop. And the best part is, like the gym, you needn’t go for Zumba sessions every day, just twice or thrice a week is enough.

A little complicated, but an hour-long session of this Latin-American dance form can make you lose upto 420 calories. Another benefit? You can take your partner along and you two can bond over these exhilarating dance moves.

Belly Dancing

 

 

One of the many dance forms that celebrate the spirit of women, belly dancing has become popular today. It targets mainly the hips and abdominal section of one’s body.
