We all think lining our eyes on the upper and lower lid is easy, but we still never end up looking like those Bollywood starlets. So when we caught up with make up artist Namrata Soni backstage at Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort 2016, we asked her to share a step-by-step guide to perfect this art of lining the eyes.
Step 1: Take a gel eyeliner and a brush and line your eyes on the upper and lower lid in a simple line. Make sure the line on the lower lid is very thin.
Step 2: After lining, use the brush to apply kohl at the inner and outer corner of the eyes. Make sure it is a little pointed to give a sharp look.
Step 3: Extend the line on the upper lid in the outer corner, and turn it into a wing.
Step 4: Extend the lower lid line as well and join it with the wing from the upper lid.
Step 5: Now use the brush and smudge the kohl slightly on the upper and lower lid to give it a dreamy and soft look.
