If you’ve been anywhere on the interwebs recently, you’ve probably come across some high-intensity workout videos of Kareena Kapoor Khan and Amrita Arora. The BFFs and serial salon visitors have reached a new peak in their friendship, owing to their (legit) strong as hell gym partnership. The two, and their respective older sisters, Malaika Arora and Karisma Kapoor have been #GirlGroupGoals for far too many years to count, and we still can’t contain our excitement every time new pictures of them hanging out emerge. But while the older sisters are out there doing their own thing, Bebo and Amu have made it their mission to be the fittest, strongest, badass young moms in Bollywood, and we are totally here for it. The duo’s choice of workout venue is Bollywood’s current favourite gym, iThinkFitness, frequented by everyone from Karan Singh Grover and Bipasha Basu to Shahid and Mira Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sohail Khan and more. (Yup, we would love to be a fly on the wall at that place!)
First up, we need to thank Amrita for totally making up for the fact that Kareena has no social media account (a fact that we consistently hope changes in the near future), because at this point our lives would be incomplete without a peek into their daily #Beast workouts. In the few weeks since this has started, Bebo and Amu have not missed a single workout, and you can see them getting stronger day-by-day. And the two have a set of power moves that they have been tearing apart since they started.
One is the deadly-but-ever-trusty stairs run, which will get you in shape in no time, but will make you sore in places you didn’t even know existed.
And as the weeks have gone by, the two have even upped their stairs game, adding a set of squats and running steps at the end. Yup, we’re sweating just watching.
Besides killer cardio, the duo also works out their core with the help of weights,
and kettlebell squats.
And not to forget, the deceivingly difficult rope, that is also another Bollywood favourite exercise , which they legit kill at.
They even get a little bit of kickboxing in.
And some single-arm dumbbell rows.
Seriously, if you don’t already feel inspired and aren’t dying to hit the gym (or do any kind of exercise), then we don’t know what’s wrong with you! BRB, we’re going to take a tour of our office gym, and eagerly await Bebo and Amu’s next set of viral workout videos.
