Right now, the world is battling the crippling crisis of Covid-19, and the World Health Organization has revealed the best way to fight the virus is by using hand sanitizer and washing hands frequently, and of course practicing social distancing. In a bid to promote healthy hand washing, Deepika Padukone shared on her Twitter handle a video of her doing the #SafeHandsChallenge.
Nominated by Dr Trevor Adhanom Ghebreyesus, WHO Director General, Deepika is seen sporting a bathrobe and a mask and films the video in her bathroom, where she washed her hands for 20 seconds, showing us the correct technique to wash hands.
She then nominated fellow sportspeople, tennis pro Roger Federer, footballer Christiano Ronaldo and Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli.
The World Health Organization has kickstarted the #SafeHandsChallenge as a precautionary measure against COVIND-19.
Bollywood has been shut down to prevent COVID-19 from spreading. Currently housebound, Deepika has taken the opportunity to rearrange and declutter her wardrobe, sharing a picture on her Instagram.
Recently DP opened up about her past relationship which we allude to Ranbir Kapoor, saying, “The first time he cheated on me, I thought there was something wrong with the relationship, or me. But when someone makes a habit of it, you know the problem lies with him. I give a lot in relationships, and don’t really expect much in return. But infidelity is the deal breaker. Once it comes in, respect goes away, trust goes away and these are the pillars of a relationship you can’t f*ck around with it.”
She added, “For me, sex is not just about physicality; there are emotions involved. I have never cheated or strayed when I’m in a relationship. If I’m going to be fooling around, why would I be in a relationship? It’s better to be single and have fun. But not everyone thinks like that.”
