We go through a lot in life, A LOT! Some on a daily basis, while others have certain incidents to cope with. Some are so grave that it takes a lot of time to get over them. It isn’t easy to overcome the fear of again being subjected to betrayal and dismay.
It takes a lot to take a stand for yourself and decide to leave the grief behind, think for yourself, and move ahead in life. Initially, you will be subjected to a lot of accusations of being self-serving–but trust us, if you can make up your mind and ignore all of that, there’s a better and bright future waiting ahead for you. The only mistake not to make on this new journey is to never look back. Honestly, not everyone gets to choose the life they want. If you do, don’t look back.
Looking back means stunting your growth
The only way to grow in life is to not look behind. We all have tough times, and we only learn in that process of facing hardships. If you keep looking back, your mind will be filled with pessimism and dejection. It will further lead to anxiety and depression, and you don’t want that right?
You will be constantly stuck
If you keep looking back at your mistakes, then you’re constantly stuck in the past. To look ahead in life and let positive things flourish, you need to stop fixating on your past mistakes. Always remember, your mistakes don’t define you as a person. How you rectify those mistakes do.
You will question your decisions
It takes a lot to decide to take a stand for yourself. After all the dilemma that’s been driving you insane, when you finally have had the chance to decide and look forward to the kind of life you want, you DON’T look back. If you do, you start questioning yourself.
You won’t learn
Until and unless you focus on the road ahead which is going to be filled with challenges and is going to be much more adventurous. With new adventures, you have a lot of things to learn and challenge yourself. Not just that, you get to know your mettle and prove it as well.
