You get enough beauty sleep but you still end up with these annoying dark circles. For all you know maybe your sleep pattern is not to be blamed at all! Here are the reasons why the area under your eyes is not at its best.
1. Your parents passed on the bad genes. It could be hereditary. Try to trace your family tree and if you spot it in other family members then that could be the reason.
2. Eczema could be leading you to rub.While eczema itself may not lead to the dark circles, the constant rubbing and itching most certainly can.
3. Allergies can make you itchy. Since the skin on our eyelid and under-eye area is some of the thinnest in the body, it may cause those swollen blood vessels to appear darker than the rest of the face. So treat your allergies now.
4. Make up could be causing the dark circles. But if you’re using a product, whether it’s a mascara, eye shadow, or even concealer that bugs your skin, it could be leading to worsened circles.
5. Your bone structure could be the reason. Sometimes if you have deep-set eyes the shadows can cast this darkness but it is not any kind of pigmentation.
6. Your veins could give you a blue tint. If your eye area appears blue, your blood vessels could be the one to blame. Blue veins make the skin appear darker.
7. You are not protecting yourself from the sun. Remember that the sun can cause damage to your under eyes. So, do not step out without your sunglasses and always use a SPF.
