If you are suffering from emotional abuse for a long time, the first thing which will be affected is your sleep pattern; you will either have insomnia or difficulty in falling asleep at night or you might tend to oversleep especially in the day time. This will disturb your body clock and you may feel tired all the time. The physical changes which you might notice due to this condition are easily noticeable – under-eye circles, hair fall, acne, difficulty in digestion, bloating, and lack of strength and stamina.

2. Easily triggered

Long-term stress and emotional disturbances can make you impulsive and agitated, you may find yourself hyper reacting to trivial things which otherwise would not affect you much when you are in a good state of mind.  Intense physical or emotional reactions that you might regret later.

3. Lack of motivation

The most alarming sign that you are emotionally drained is that you lack motivation; there is no desire to get out of bed or absolutely no enthusiasm to start your day. You may even feel no excitement in doing things which you loved to do before.

4. Absent-mindedness

Emotional exhaustion has a direct impact on your brain’s capacity to perform well, which results in memory issues; you tend to forget important events and dates. Your short-term memory is affected, more so you forget the names of people you just met or even forget roads and directions.

5. Immune disorders
