11 Ways to Get That Perfectly Chiseled Jawline

Some women have what’s called as face fat and that can be quite an eye sore. Well, I know that because I have a chubby face and all I end up noticing in other women is that perfect jawline. With a chubby face that sort of forms a double chin I am obsessed with getting rid of all the face fat, especially with the wedding season coming up. So if you’ve been looking for ways to get that smart-looking chiseled jawline too, here’s what you can do.

 

1. Exercise your jaw.
Of course, exercise is the most important thing. There are multiple exercises that can help you lose all the face fat and firm up the skin for a younger look. Try head twists and also opening your jaws wide and more works wonders to get that chiseled jawline.

 

 

 

 

2. Smile more often.
Smiling has many benefits and one of them is to be able to tone up your face muscles. So smile as often as possible because it’s also a good exercise. Plus, it isn’t as strenuous as other exercises, and can be done at any given time. It’s also known to be a great mood enhancer.

 

 

 

3. Chew gum and get that chiseled jawline.
No jokes! Eating a chewing gum is the easiest way of exercising your facial muscles. Chewing a gum involves a lot of jaw movement, which helps sharpen that area. Besides, it’s fun and doesn’t take any extra effort too.

 

 

4. Practice chin lifts.
Chin lifts are exercises that will help you work your chin to shed the excess fat. Look up, towards the ceiling, and keep looking at it. Strain your lips in a way that you are trying to kiss something and stay in that position for 10 seconds. Repeat 10 times everyday to tone up the chin and jawline.

 

 

5. Make a fish face.
You know how fishes have that sucked-in face? You could get a chiseled jawline, just by doing that. Suck in your cheeks from inside your mouth and try smiling, this will resemble a fish face and help you tone up the muscles. Hold the pose for five seconds and repeat a few times.

 

 

6. Massage your face.
Massaging is a good way to increase blood circulation so take a few minutes to run your fingers through your face in circular motions. Rub your chin, jaw, temples and cheeks for a few seconds to feel refreshed. This will help your skin become tighter. Alternatively you can also massage the face with ice cubes.

 

 

 

 

7. Use the right technique.
Sometimes technique is everything and that hols true during those times when you have to apply creams on your face. Always go from bottom to top as that prevents skin from sagging.

 

 

8. Clench your jaw.
For a better jawline you can also try clenching your jaw for 10 seconds and release it. You should feel some discomfort and a little burn. Do this a few times (10-15) to see your face tone up soon. This is easy to incorporate in your day-to-day routine too, as it doesn’t look funny.

 

 

9. Eat less salt.
Salt, when consumed in abundance can affect the skin and promotes bloating so try and avoid too much salt in your food. Skip munching on salted snacks and junk food.

 

 

 

 

10. Get a good night’s sleep.
At least eight hours of sleep is a must if you want you want a healthy body. Not getting enough sleep will leave you tired and make your face look swollen.

 

 

11. Use cosmetic help.
If you are looking for an immediate solution take help from your cosmetic kit. Use contouring techniques that can make you look great. A bronzer and highlighter are key for this. Whatever trick you use, try and keep it subtle so that it doesn’t look too made up.
