Let me tell you about my favourite meals- breakfast and dinner. Omelettes, sausages, baked beans and croissants with a cup of hot piping coffee and a glass of juice, give me all of that and I am perpetually going to be in heaven, but sadly I am even judged by my family whenever I demand pancakes for dinner. So when Café Mangii introduced its new breakfast range, I couldn’t wait to try it.
As we sat down for breakfast, we first started with a glass of fresh watermelon and orange juice. We also ordered a Fruit Medley. What’s more divine than a platter of fruits along with nuts and some cinnamon and honey sprinkled over it. A must try, even if you don’t like fruits. It’s rich and makes you feel so good within.
Next up, we ordered a Mushroom Florentine which has baby spinach and creamed mushroom served over multigrain toast. It had such a wonderful burst of flavours that even the spinach-hating me loved it. From the options of omelettes, we chose the Peppery Smokes Pimetoes, which has smoked pimento peppers along with jalapeno and Scamorza cheese. We also tried the Chilli Cheese Molten. The chilli cheese molten omelette was absolutely amazing and it sure turned out to be my favourite. The gooey cheese melting in my mouth was absolutely delightful and while I was deciding between ordering another one or not, my friend ordered the Baker’s Treat- which comes with Pain au Chocolat, Buttered Croissant, Blueberry Muffin and Danish served with Pistachio Noughat Cream Cheese. It was as sinful as any breakfast can get. We could barely finish!
I was being super greedy and wanted to order pancakes and waffles as well, which are a part of the menu, but just couldn’t. We were so full that we wanted to go sleep again.
Plan a breakfast morning at Café Mangii. You’re going to love it.
