It’s a little expensive with a cost of Rs 4,000 for two, but it’s worth every penny.
2. Hello Guppy, BKC
Located right in the middle of the city in BKC, Hello Guppy has to be on the list. Order spicy salmon roll and spicy tuna roll, and trust us–you won’t be disappointed. In fact, this is perhaps the cutest Japnese joint in the city, and has been done up tastefully, taking you on a mini Japan tour. With cherry blossoms and vintage Japanese decor, this place is all things pretty. Cost for two here is only Rs 1500.
3. Pa Pa Ya, Lower Parel
If you are into fancy dining then Pa Pa Ya is the place for you. If you like your sushi to be on a platter with the perfect blend of molecular gastronomy and mixology, then you can’t miss out on this place. They have everything on their menu–you name it and they have it. From maki rolls to nigaki to sashimi rolls, they have all varieties of sushi. Try their soft shell crab tempura maki rolls–they’re heavenly! Also, the cost for two here is Rs 2,000–not bad for a fine dining place actually.
4. Yugo Sushi, Bandra
Month-end? Totally broke but the craving for a well-made sushi is really driving you crazy? Well, let Yugo Sushi come to your rescue and satiate your cravings. Try their variation of Sushi Burritos and California rolls. Cost for two is just Rs 700. Woohoo! Not all good things in the world are expensive.
