Scrumptious, melt-in-your-mouth mutton kebabs

The tantalising taste of moist, melt-in-your mouth mutton kebabs is one of those recipes that are dished out of an expert’s kitchen. It can be challenging to cook with mutton as the meat takes a long time to soften. The recipe may get tedious and the procedure tough. But, for a palatable mutton starter you wouldn’t mind it, would you? Well, here’s the easy recipe of mutton boti kebab that dishes out soft, succulent kebabs filled with luscious flavours.

Ingredients:

1000 gms mutton cubes
200 gms raw papaya
80 gms hung curd
2 gms black pepper powder
1 gm black cardamom powder
1 gm clove powder
3 gms salt
30 ml cream
20 ml refined oil
2 lemons
2 gms kashmiri chili powder
20 gms butter

Method:

1. Make a paste of raw papaya.

2. Add all the ingredients except butter in hung curd and mix well.

3. Add raw papaya and the mutton cubes to the marinade.

4. Keep it for five to six hours.

5. Cook on skewers in tandoor till well done and finish with melted butter.

6. If you don’t have a tandoor use your stove or an oven to cook the kebabs over skewers.
