Scrumptious murgh hazari tikka
What could be better than piping hot chicken tikkas waiting to be eaten on the dinner table. We call this a weekend well spent in the company of good food! Well, marinated chicken tikkas and chutney make for the perfect party appetiser, or even if you want to spend time with a delicious munchy while watching your fav show. After all, such treats are well deserved.
Ingredients:
180 gms boneless chicken leg
50 gms cheddar cheese
50 ml cream
30 gms cashew
5 gms chopped garlic
10 gms ginger, chopped
5 gms green cardamom powder
Salt to taste
White pepper powder to taste
4 gms ginger paste
5 gms garlis paste
20 gms butter
5 gms chat masala
Method:
1. Using a mixer, make a paste of cashew and cream and keep aside.
2. Wash the chicken. Once done, pat it dry. Apply salt, ginger-garlic paste, chopped green chilies and chopped coriander, and leave to rest.
3. In a bowl, take the marinated chicken; add the cream and cashew paste to it. Add cardamom powder and white pepper powder.
4. Using a skewer, insert the chicken and cook in the oven at 180*c for 15 minutes. Keep applying butter to ensure the chicken remains moist.
5. Once done, sprinkle with chaat masala. Serve hot with mint chutney.
