So, the festivities are taking over our daily lives and our carefully planned diets have gone for a toss. But do you really want to skip those delicious laddoos and halwas to eat your boring, bland low-cal food? What if your tasteless, healthy food is revamped into flavourful sweet treats? Here’s a recipe of healthy cold banana halwa that you can eat this festive season without being guilty of piling on the calories? Therefore, this recipe:
Ingredients:
5 Bananas (approx 800 gms)
50 gm almond
50 gm cashew
50 gm pistachios
50 gm raisins
30 ml maple syrup
Low-cal whipped cream
Method:
1. Cut the bananas in small pieces and put it in a food processor and mash it in a bowl well.
2. Chop the almonds, pistachios and cashews into small pieces.
3. Add and mix the chopped almonds, pistas, cashews and rainis with mashed bananas.
4. Add maple syrus and whipped cream into the mixture.
5. Pour the mixture in a container and refrigerate.
6. When cold enough take a scope and place it in a serving plate. Add maple syrup and garnish with mint leaf
