Recipe: A Basic and Heartwarming Thai Green Curry

Luscious Thai green curry

The one question that most women face every single day is – what to cook? There are some women who enjoy their kitchen chores and experiment with dishes by trying their hands at all kinds of cuisines to bring some variety onto their dinner tables. Thai curry is one of the many easy options that we think all working women must try, as the recipe is simple and the dish delicious. The aroma of the curry is sure to tease your senses and make your meal a delight. Here’s the recipe of Green Thai Curry.

Ingredients:

50 gms green curry paste**
2 garlic, crushed
¼ tsp turmeric
400 ml coconut milk
500 ml water
1 tbsp soya sauce
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp lime juice
50 gms fresh beans
50 gms tofu
50 gms bokchoy

Method:

1. Cook green curry paste, garlic and turmeric powder in a pot for 5 mins.

2. Add water and coconut milk, and bring to a boil.

3. Reduce heat, while stirring on simmer for two mins.

4. Add vegetables and bokchoy, and cook while stirring for five mins.

5. Add soya sauce, sugar and lemon juice. Cook while stirring for 10 mins.

6. Cook until curry becomes thick and serve with hot rice and raw papaya salad.

7. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
