Healthy soft boiled eggs for breakfast
There are so many ways to make an egg, but there’s a trick to get each recipe right. This time around we want to perfect making soft boiled eggs. You don’t need less time to boil; what you are missing is vinegar and salt. Check out this video.
Ingredients:
1- 4 eggs
Water
Salt
20 ml of vinegar
And some pepper
We are going to use a saucepan and a ladle
Method:
- Place the eggs in a saucepan and pour the water from the top such that the water level is a little higher than the eggs.
- Now it’s time to add a little bit of salt and vinegar.
- Remember, vinegar helps to de-shell the eggs easily. Now cover the pot with a lid and let it simmer for a little while. Let the eggs boil for approximately 10 to 12 minutes.
- Open the lid and remove the eggs from the pot.
- What you could do here is – spin the egg to check if it is cooked. If it remains solid and intact, all you have to do is de-shell it.
- Crack the egg on a hard surface. You could also use a knife to do that. Now you can start peeling the eggs. Now that the eggs are ready you can cut it into half.
- There you go! Your soft boiled eggs are ready to serve.
