Enjoy paneer bhurji for breakfast
When you some bonus time in the morning, it means you need to definitely treat yourself to something more than your regular tea and toast or cornflakes and milk. Paneer Bhurji qualifies for those mornings. If you already know the recipe, this Tarla Dalal video will add that extra spice. And, if you don’t, guess who has come to the right place!
Ingredients:
1 cup mashed paneer
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp cumin seeds )
1/2 cup finely chopped onions
1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
1/2 tsp pav bhaji masala
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp finely chopped green chillies
1 tbsp finely chopped coriander
Method:
- Heat the oil on a tava (griddle) and add the cumin seeds.
- When the seeds crackle, add the onions and sauté on a high flame for one to two minutes.
- Add the tomatoes, two table spoon of water, mix well and cook on a slow flame for two to three minutes, while stirring continuously.
- Add the pav bhaji masala, turmeric powder, chilli powder, green chillies and 1 tbsp of water, mix well and cook on a medium flame for one to two minutes, while stirring continuously.
- Add the paneer, salt and coriander and one table spoon of water, mix well and cook on a medium flame for one to two minutes, while stirring occasionally.
Serve hot.
