How to Make Asian-Style Stir Fry Sprouts [Video]

Stir fry sprouts as an healthy snack

The party season gives you the permission slip to binge; therefore, we got our hands on a guilt-free recipe for dudettes on diets. Asian-Style stir fry sprouts can be relished as an appetiser, served with drinks or packed for lunch. We are all for tasty and healthy in equal parts. So, you can only imagine how urgently this recipe begs to be prepared.

 

 

Those with a weak immune must not snack on raw sprouts. But you will have no excuses for not sprout-ing your way to heathy eating with this recipe.

 

Ingredients:


1 cup of sprouts
2 tsp oil
Handful of spring onion leaves
1 white part of spring onion, cut into halves and then cut into thin slices
2-3 tsp sweet soy sauce
1 small green chilli, cut into thin slices
Pepper powder to taste
2 tsp light soy sauce
Salt to taste
1 garlic clove, cut into thin slices

 

Method:


  1. Put a non-stick wok on medium flame and allow it to heat. 
  2. Once the wok is a little hot, add the oil. When the oil is heated, add the garlic slices, green chillies and the spring onions. Lightly stir fry.
  3. Add the sprouts and lightly stir fry.
  4. After sometime, add the light soya sauce, sweet sauce, some salt, pinch of pepper and spring onion leaves.
  5. Stir fry for a few minutes and ensure that the sprouts aren’t completely cooked. This ensures that the sprouts have a nice crunchy taste.
  6. Once all the ingredients are well mixed, the stir fry sprouts are ready.
  7. Eat it as a healthy snack or an appetiser before a meal.
