Healthy and wholesome fruity lettuce citrus salad
With all the partying this season, your diet plans must have surely gone for a toss. Fret not! Here’s a fruity lettuce citrus salad recipe that will help get your diet regime back on track. The tangy, citrusy flavour of the salad makes it a refreshing and wholesome meal that will keep you satiated for a few hours, and the goodness of fruits will make sure you get all the essential nutrients. Ingredients:
2 cups mixed fruits (green grapes , strawberries, orange segments and sweet lime segments)
2 cups lettuce , torn into big pieces
salt to taste
To Be Mixed In To A Citrus Dressing
2 tbsp olive oil
1 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
1 1/2 tbsp orange squash
Method:
1. Combine the mixed fruits, lettuce, citrus dressing and salt, in a bowl and toss well.
2. Serve immediately.
