Situated in Andheri, Mumbai, Punjab Grill’s newest outlet is a huge diner, surrounded by multiple other eateries that compete for the attention of food-loving Mumbaikars. But their USP is the vast variety of grilled items along with a host of Punjabi / Mughlai fare, which they do a great job at.
I visited Punjab Grill on a Saturday afternoon and it was packed, which meant people already love this place.
We opted for the lunch buffet option and feasted on an array of scrumptious starters such as Murg Malai Tikka, Reshmi Murgh Kebabs, Tandoori Paneer and Tandoori Aloo. The meat was soft and succulent, making it a pleasure to eat.
The Spiced Guava Mocktail that happens to be a seasonal favourite was a yummy beverage with just the right amount of spice and went perfectly with the food.
There was a variety of salads on display too, but my personal favorite was the cold chicken and mayo salad, which was truly satiating.
The Roasted Baby Corn requires a special mention as it was spicy, crisp and totally delicious. Despite being a hardcore non-vegetarian, I chose to take a second serving of this vegetarian starter, so you can imagine how tasty it was. We finally dug into some soft, succulent fish starters like the Tandoori Fish, bringing an end to the appetizers.
For the main course we had the rich preparation of Mutton Rogan Josh gravy along with a delicious Kadai Chicken preparation and a variety of breads such as Garlic Naan, Butter Roti and Kulcha Parathas. And while we were stuffed with this, we just could not resist a bite of the luscious Mutton Biryani.
With this we ended a lavish Mughlai meal and were pretty satisfied too. So if you are looking to have a relaxed Indian meal with the whole family, Punjab Grill is certainly your best bet. Visit this place for a relaxed weekend lunch and you’ll return stuffed and satisfied.
