The AirBorn is an innovative child seat for infants flying in commercial aircrafts. The design is such that it increases the comfort and safety for both parent and child and allows for 3 different areas of use. You can use it on the bulkhead wall, in the lap of the adult passenger or place it on the armrest. In the first scenario, you can lower the seat in the unlikely case of an emergency to clear the adult’s crash zone and protect the infant from the adult and flying objects.
The seat features a lifejacket, which gets inflated before impact and acts as an impact distributor over the infant’s body. The seat can also be placed individually, on its own passenger seat. An interesting solution for an area less explored.
