Though it looks like a patchwork of different pieces from famous mid-century works, the Hinge Chair is something entirely its own. The design consists of 10 individual plates that are all hinged together with straps and rods. Not just for style, this unique construction functions to give the chair the ability to slightly move and shape itself after each individual user. With wood plating that can be customized to different types and clipped (not sewn), CNC-produced fabric, it’s also stylistically versatile to match the user’s distinct taste.
