A delectable chicken recipe with coconut milk
We know that chicken prepared in the same way everyday can get a little boring. So here’s an easy recipe that will give your chicken preparation the much needed twist. The goodness of coconut milk and cashew will take this recipe a few notches higher. This creamy, rich dish is a must try.
Ingredients:
½ kg chicken
Half bunch coriander
50gms cashew nuts
5/6 peppercorns
2 green chillies
4 garlic cloves
½ tspn jeera
1tspn oil
½ cup coconut milk
1 tspn mustard seeds
3-5 curry leaves
Salt and pepper
Method:
1. Clean and wash the chicken properly.
2. Grind all the other ingredients, except chicken, into a fine paste.
3. Put oil in a pan and heat.
4. When the oil is heated, add the mustard seeds and curry leaves.
5. Add chicken and sauté. Now add salt and pepper to taste.
6. Sauté till the chicken is well cooked and turns light brown.
7. Now add the green masala. Add a little water and let it sear. Cook till the chicken is done.
8. When the oil starts floating, put the thick coconut milk and let it cook.
9. Serve with rice and enjoy.
