Not just Disneyland, but frankly all amusement parks evoke two extreme reactions from children. Most kids are elated, filled with pure extacy at the prospect of being in such a fun filled place. Some however, get thrown off by the excited large crowds and all the fanfare.
The Disney camera by Soo Mok uses technology to remove that paranoia. Giving the child a camera gives them a certain confidence because when you look at the world through a lens, it doesn’t seem as life-like, as real, and as scary.
The camera design abstracts popular Disney characters to make it more playful and familiar. The wonderful use of colors and soft forms gives the camera a distinct and friendly appearance, making it the perfect friend for the child.
