A Camera Trailed Me For 24 Hrs. Guess What I Found Out?

Don’t you sometimes sit back and wonder how 24 hours are too less to finish everything that you want to in the day? Your day starts super early in the morning and does not end before midnight on any given day. So I decided to decode what is it that I do during an average workday to see why I get so tired when the day ends. Here’s how an average day of mine looks like.

6 am

My day started rather early today (it is 6 am!) as I had decided to go for a quick yoga session before heading to work.

8.30 am

I’m just about to leave for office and then I notice the watch and realize that I have only 2 minutes to make a dash for the office bus that comes to pick me up

10 am

Once I reach office, there is a pleasant surprise waiting for me. An empty elevator! Naturally, I decide to sprint those 50 meters and get the elevator. Only to find out that…

The elevator has decided to stop working abruptly and then I had to climb up 7 floors with my laptop bag on one shoulder and my giant tote on the other. Really not a good start to the day.

1 pm

I didn’t realize how much time and enegy I spend trying to detangle these wires. Argh!

4 pm

Tea break or as we call it – arm wrestling time! I win 😀

6 pm

After hours of grueling work, I am just about to pack up and leave and I want to stop by at the supermarket before I head home and relax. And right on time, I get a text from my friend asking me to catch up with her for dinner.

7pm

Groceries or dinner with my friends? Actually why not both? I decided to rush to the supermarket for a quick trip and then meet my friends for dinner! Win!

11 pm

After my semi-healthy dinner with friends, I reached home only to be pounced on by my dog who is surprisingly active even at such a late hour. He just wouldn’t give up so I ended up spending half an hour with him before he calmed down.

12 am

Finally! Time to hit the sack. Goodbye world!

Frankly, I did not realize that there is so much activity I manage to undertake every single day. The quick dash for the elevator, carrying two big bags to work, making a quick stop to the grocery store, all of these activities exert our body. We don’t even realise how drastically our day-to-day activities affect our body and that it is actually our strong bones that help us get through the day. Needless to say, it is important that we look after our bone health and be #StrongToTheBone.

If you believe that you too are #StrongToTheBone, share your story with us here
