The BU Water bottle aims to bring users an alternative to single-use water bottles which are thrown away at an alarming number of 50 million each year. The innovative design encourages people to conserve resources with a reusable bottle that filters water on-the-go. Using traditional Japanese methods, the activated charcoal filter is made by simply cutting a piece of bamboo to size and placing it in a kiln. The lid is also crafted from bamboo, further eliminating the use of plastic. Don’t be deceived by its elegant glass-like appearance – it’s made to be rigid, lightweight and safe to quench your thirst from anywhere!
