Emma Watson has been a feminist voice for gender equality over the last year. As the brand ambassador of the HeforShe campaign by the United Nations, Emma Watson has been working diligently for the case. You can only imagine what would happen when this passionate celebrity met another equally passionate woman; a heartfelt conversation that will leave you empowered! Emma Watson interviewed Noble Prize laureate Malala Yousofzai at INTO Film Festival where the documentary ‘He Named Me Malala’ was showcased.

The interview had many insights about the work Malala has done in order to help children and her NGO, The Malala Fund. But the part we loved most was Emma questioning Malala on feminism. Check out the video to know what Malala had to say about the ‘tricky word.’

The best line from the video was Malala saying, “So I am a feminist and you all should be feminists because feminism is another word for equality.” There you have it; the easiest explanation for everyone who is afraid of the ‘feminist’ tag.
