A diet needs dedication. But sometimes diets also need coordination and cooperation from our surroundings and people around us. If you are one of those who keeps breaking the diet pattern consistently, then there is something wrong that you are doing. And if you spend most of your time at work, then surely your workplace is becoming a diet destroyer. Here are 11 instances when you can totally blame your workplace for ruining your diet.

1. Rushed mornings and no-breakfast routines are definitely health killers, but it’s worse when you gorge on unhealthy canteen ka nashta that’s dripping with oil and masala.

2. Walking into a canteen along with collegaues, whose dabbas are packed with such aromatic food that you can’t but try a bit from each of their lunch boxes.

3. Birthdays! Every month there’s some colleague who’s celebrating their birthday. And those delicious cakes are surely irresistible!

4. Those post-work parties, where alcohol is free flowing, are such diet destroyers.

5. Chai and coffee breaks can be traumatising too. Especially if you can’t keep away from all that sugar in your beverage.

6. That colleague who brings dabbas, filled with your favourite food.

7. Post-lunch dessert cravings. Controlling the urge to not buy that bar of chocolate or that tetrapack of chocolate hazelnut smoothie requires more mental strength than you think you have.

8. If all this wasn’t enough, as soon as the clock strikes four, it’s snack time and even though you’ve got all the healthy food stocked up, you crave for those deep-fried pakoras, which your colleague is relishing.

9. Then there will those one of gifts that grace your office on the days that you swear to eat only healthy. Of course you end up breaking the promise because come on, this is such a rarity, right?

10. And then there will be those visitors and associates, who you have to entertain with chai, coffee and lots of snacks.

11. Plus, those free food packages from your office are a sweet surprise. They are unhealthy yet unavoidable delicacies. Yes, that’s what we call diet gone for a toss.
