Sapna Bhavnani is known to be brutally honest about not just her life, but everything that she believes in. Some months back she was in the news for a candid Facebook post, about her rape incident.
This time Sapna has spoken about her opinion on another controversy that is doing the rounds.
A couple of days back, members from the Shiv Sena threw ink on Sudheendra Kulkarni, organiser for Pakistan’s former foreign minister Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri’s book launch. Kulkarni did not meet the demands of the Shiv Sena, who asked him to call off the book launch and when Kulkarni refused to give in, a few members from the party threw ink on his face and turned it completely black.
But Kulkarni went to the book launch event with his blackened face and said, the show will go on.
The incident has created an outrage across the country, with people taking sides. Sapna too has taken a side and expressed a strong opinion. Not just that, she too blackened her face, to support Kulkarni.

We are proud that Sapna stood up. With many such incidents taking place, it’s time we voice our opinion against such events and condemned them.
